Hello and welcome! I have started this group because of my infatuation with E. A. Poe. He is my all time favorite writer and I see glimmers of his work inside most of my favorite authors and even movies/tv shows! For most of his adult life he tried to get funding for his magazine that he called The Stylus. He wanted it to be a melting pot of writers that, he felt, expanded the publics minds. A magazine that would help elevate the way that people read and wrote. He unfortunately died before this dream was ever made into a reality. So that's where the name comes from! LOL! I do love Mr. Poe, but I am not looking to make this group all about him. I would love to learn more about other authors and poets. So if you have knowledge of them and would like to share. Please do! I want to mirror the idea that Poe had for his Stylus, and make this a group of writers. I would love to have you all share your works here. I think it would be fun to share and see what we all think. I want this to be a place for all writers! Doesn't matter if you are published or not. Doesn't matter if you are in elementary school! LOL! I just think it would be fun to share and get feed back on what we all love to do. Thank you all for taking the time to check out the site. And feel free to dive in at any time!!
